Ken
entered the video game industry in 2002, since then he has been credited
with 6 game titles, the most recent being Halo 3. He has made games
for the PC, X-box, Gamecube, and X-box 360, and has even appeared
in a game as an enemy character.
Professionally, Ken is an Environment Artist, creating believable
environments in 3-D,
immersing the player in the total game experience. On the side he
created Enfu originally as a creative outlet, but it soon became a
vehicle to express his unique perspective of both the Japanese and
American cultures through his serigraphs. Growing up both in the USA
and in Japan, Ken has experienced both acceptance and rejection from
both sides. He provides a fresh commentary on his biculturalism through
illustrating a world where both cultures coexist in hybrid unity,
a term he would like to coin "Hybrid Nippop".
Ken's prints are available at Kobo and Blue Bottle Art Gallery in
Seattle as well as through his website www.enfu.com.
