Hyogo Business & Culture Center

HBCC Logo
The Hyogo Business & Cultural Center is a nonprofit organization located in Seattle, created to represent the Hyogo Prefectural Government in North America. In order to forge stronger governmental, business and cultural relations between Hyogo Prefecture and North America, they strive to increase international understanding through a variety of programs and services in both sections of cultural outreach and business development.

The Hyogo Business and Cultural center works throughout the year to promote Japanese culture through a series of culture classes that are open to the public at low, subsidized rates. Through these classes people can learn about such Japanese pastimes as flower arranging, bonsai, cookery, martial arts, music, chess, and more. The majority of the classes are aimed at beginners so that anyone can join in.

Those who are interested in learning more can go to the HBCC website (http://www.hyogobcc.org) and check out the culture section of the homepage. We look forward to seeing you at one of our classes, or stop by our booth at the Aki Matsuri to find out more on how you may count on Hyogo Business & Cultural Center's support through outreach programs, Japanese culture classes for the public, Japanese education in Washington State, business development, consulting, and more!
