Yokoso Japan

Established in 1964 as a government organization, the Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO) has since promoted Japan as a tourist destination through its offices all over the world, including its current branches in Los Angeles and New York. Since Former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi launched a big inbound tourism campaign called the "Visit Japan Campaign" in 2003, a double digit increase of foreign visitors has been observed. Now more than eight hundred thousand Americans visit Japan annually according to the JNTO statistics.

JNTO will send out free maps, brochures or posters on request. You may also consult our knowledgeable staff at JNTO by phone or e-mail about anything related to travel to Japan.
