Pacific Northwest Chapter of the JET Alumni Association (JETAA)

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live and work in Japan for a year? Every year in July, over a thousand Americans travel to Japan on the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program. Sponsored by the Japanese government, this program promotes cross cultural and educational exchange between Japan and the world.

Pacific Northwest Chapter of JETAA is one of eighteen JET Alumni Associations in the United States. Our chapter has over three hundred members who are former JET Program participants living in Washington, Northern Idaho, and Montana. The JETAA officers meet monthly to organize community outreach and social events that help our community and JETAA members stay connected to Japan.

Visit JETAA's booth to pick up an application! Former JET Program participants will be on hand to share their experiences teaching English in Japan. See Japan through their eyes as educators and cultural ambassadors, and learn how the international experience of participating on the JET Program can have a positive impact on your life.
