Voice
Library in Japanese is a volunteer organization, established in
April of 2004 as a Non-Profit Corporation in the state of Washington.
Our mission is to serve the community through reading.
The organization focuses on two core activities:
- "Making audio books in Japanese. Our organization makes
these recordings available to individuals in the community that
are unable to read due to disabilities or otherwise
- Reading books written in Japanese aloud on visits to wherever
our services are needed (nursing homes, hospitals, in-home care
patients, etc.)
|
Voice
Library in Japanese currently has 16 members and reading volunteers.
We are looking to involve as many people from the community as possible,
while still maintaining the quality of our services and we welcome
anyone who would like to help out in any way possible, even if it
is just one hour a month.
