The Seattle Jujutsu Club, Hatake Dojo was founded February of 1998
in Seattle. The dojo is noted for its rigorous practices and the smiling
faces of the participants. The dojo is focused around a Meiji period

choking, and both standing and ground techniques. The dojo's aim is
pragmatic application of technique, physical conditioning, and self-development
through the practice of physical culture.
In addition, the club offers the opportunity to practice judo, as
well as Russian Sombo.
