Suzume-kai Chorus Group of the Peninsula Japanese Women's Club was founded in June 2005 by Reiko So, and currently consists of 15 members. Peninsula Japanese Women's Club was founded in 1979, and has grown to 110 members.

Suzume-kai has a wide ranging repertoire including Japanese popular songs, Japanese folk songs, foreign songs, and at appropriate times incorporate dancing to accompany the songs. Our motto is "It doesn't matter how old you are …have fun and stay healthy." Suzume-kai performs at various occasions such as at functions of Peninsula Japanese Women's Club; as well as for local area groups and at retirement homes.
