Japan
Business Association of Seattle (JBAS) - JBAS, sometimes
known, as Shunju Club is a consortium of Japanese
corporations and/or their subsidiary companies incorporated
in the United States. The start of the Association can be traced
back to the year of 1922 and, since then, the organization has
been aggressively acting in the Pacific Northwest Region as
the representing entity of Japanese enterprises. Their main
missions are: 1) to manage Seattle Japanese School located in
the City of Bellevue; 2) to deepen mutual understanding between
Japan and the United States in economic and cultural areas;
and 3) to promote friendship among the members of the Association.
