Welcome to the Eastside Nihon Matsuri Association (ENMA)
Home page!
"Nihon" and "Matsuri" are Japanese words.
They mean "Japanese Festival".
ENMA is a non-profit organization
staffed by a team of community minded volunteers who are interested
in preserving and furthering the arts and crafts of Japan for
the enjoyment of all community members in the Greater Seattle
area and Pacific Northwest.
Every Fall, ENMA presents "Aki Matsuri (Fall Festival)",
a 2-day program of Japanese cultural, educational, and fun events
for all age groups, to celebrate Japan's rich cultural heritage.

The Aki Matsuri is a celebration of Japan's rich cultural heritage.
A large number of local artists and craftpersons practicing
Japanese-style arts and crafts, performing arts, martial arts,
and Japan related businesses & organizations will be participating
during the entire two day event.
2010 will be the 13th year to present the Aki Matsuri. "2010
Aki Matsuri" will be held on September 11 (Saturday) and
12 (Sunday), 2010 at the Bellevue College's main campus located
in Bellevue, Washington.
Now, the ENMA Board and Aki Matsuri Team members are putting
the 2010 programs together. More information with an ever-increasing
level of detail will be forthcoming as the program and plans
develop. Please check our website from time to time to follow
our progress.
We invite everyone to join in the many activities of the matsuri.
There really is something for everyone! The matsuri is an excellent
opportunity to experience the rich culture of Japan as we bring
"Japan to the Bellevue College for a weekend!"
